Maval : The Land Of Chhatrapati : A Heaven for Adventure Seekers

Family Outings are very tricky affairs ( or rather sticky affairs )

Lots of Planning ( More of a showoffs ; whether you are more busy or we are..LOL ) shortlisting of Locs , timings and flickering moods make it more tiring than the adventure itself...That Makes me more Independent Explorer than a Group Traveller

( Of course they are more of Travelers than Explorers )..

Nevertheless...Before I sound like an Isolated Island ( Which I Prefer for all Good Reasons ) I decided to join one of the Best ( Really ?? haha ) Group Trip / Picnic or whatever funny Jargon you can think of ( civilians call it Adventure ...Hi Hi Hi ) ....and Fall in state of  Deep Confusion ( Read " Ecstasy "...Well That's Civilian synonym for it )...

Maval : The land of Chhatrapati : A Heaven for Adventure Seeker

Lets Get Serious Now >>>Understand our Region of Exploration ( Unplanned , Raw , heavily Mismanaged By a So Called Professional who knows ( ? ) that region for past xyz years ( May be my 45 days puppy knows his territory better than Him...haha..Well Sarcasm is a Better tool , any time Better to glorify an Idiot's Understanding of His own Professionalism in organizing PICNICs .

MAVAL  : The Original Destination Planned ( Atleast 2 Weeks Ahead ) Which we had to abandon after spending atleast 5 hrs of Drive and Roaming around without any clue for next 4 hrs .

Maval is a tehsil in a subdivision of the same name, in the Pune district of Maharashtra, India.

The word Maval is derived from a Marathi word Maval, meaning the direction in which the sun sets. This region is towards the west of Pune area. It is hilly terrain and part of the Sahyadri range/western ghats. The Sahyadri range goes from north to south. On the western part of the range lies the Konkan area and on the eastern side 'Maval'. Many rivers originate from this region and travel from west to east.

It was the first abode of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who formed an army of the local inhabitants called 'Mavale'

Our Destination ( Mulshi Lake - Unexplored Lake Shore )

( Which I had to Plan on the Spot after the Fiasco by the Professional Organizer )

Mulshi Dam & Lake Exploration ( Fauji Style )

Standing at a distance of around 35 km from the mainland of Pune, Mulshi Dam is a perfect family weekend getaway. Although a 365 days tourist destination, the picturesque beauty of Mulshi Dam is commendable in monsoons. The place is quite peaceful and boasts a tranquil environment and its natural serenity with calm surroundings crown it as one of the top-rated short trip destinations from Pune.

A clean and green paradise, Mulshi is an eco-friendly destination where trekking, photography & bird-watching are carried out in full swing. Other than these, camping is also highly adored by tourists.

The most beautiful thing in the world that humanity had neglected since ages are the nature. People often forget about it but when they do notice they got lost in the beauty of it. But how much often do you take time and enjoy being part of nature? We do remember nature only when we are tired or frustrated from day to day living. We only remember about nature when we need the nature for our own purpose. Why can’t we make some time everyday to cherish what we have without any reason? No one has the answer to this question and some of us may now cherish nature but as time passes by will be back t our own usual life.

Soft comes to the hush of eventide
And songbirds hide
In limbs of budded trees
To bid farewell to set the sun
With lullabies, they’ve sung
Each night for centuries.
A lark is winging swiftly home –
Black dot alone –
Beneath auroral clouds.
All nature makes a homeward rush
As twilight’s rosy blush
The eyes of night arose.
