Gujarati Thali (Gujaratiગુજરાતી થાળી) is an assortment of dishes arranged as a platter for lunch or dinner in restaurants and homes, mostly in Gujarat and places with Gujarati diaspora.[1] “Thali” literally means “a full plate meal”.

The Gujarati Thali consists of various dishes like ringana methi nu shak  (eggplant cooked with fenugreek leaves), Gujarati khatti mithi daal (sweet and sour lentil), undhiyu (mixed vegetable prepared with spinach paste), bhindi sambhariya (ladyfingers curry), aloo rasila (potato and tomato thin curry), steamed basmati rice, badshahi khichdiChapatimethi na thepla and bhakhri with kachumber salad [2] along with various types of chutneys.[3]

“It was nine o'clock, cloudy, and a little like one of those science fiction movies where a few survivors are clinging to the wreckage, living out their days in the dry husk of civilization.”

A heavenly place away from the daily din.

Surrounded by Lush Green Farms and Deers and Sambhars , u can experience the immediate drop in temperature once u reach here.

A very beautifully and aesthetically maintained military cantonment which is spic and span.

The old world charm is still carefully preserved in this place.

A Classy Golf Course is maintained which also provides for a breath taking walking experience.

The Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, colloquially the S.G. Road or S.G. Highway, connects the city of Ahmedabad with Gandhinagar, the capital of the state of GujaratIndia. It forms the major part of NH 8C that connects Sarkhej with Chiloda near Gandhinagar. It is a major artery road for commercial and public transport and is witnessing a major construction boom along its route towards Gandhinagar.
