Sondai is not such a famous fort near Karjat Chowk Phata. Sondai Fort Trek is nine kilometers from  Karjat  railway station.  It offers a beautiful view of Morbe Dam, Prabalgad, Irshalgad, Rajmachi, Songiri forts, Karnala Fort, and Matheran mountain range. Sondai Fort Karjat was used as a watchtower to protect the trade routes.  Sondewadi and Wavarle are the base villages of Sondai fort. Sondewadi village is situated at 1/4th height of this Fort. Image
The Charm Of Old Mumbai : Pune Highway  There is so much left to explore. there are so many maps that you have not even opened. so many roads that you do not know the names of. do not know the taste of their asphalt. so many late night gas stations open roads truck stops static-y radios. there are so many miles on my body your mouth has yet to kiss. there are so many mountains i know that your shaky knees shall conquer, so much music i am waiting to hear from your lips. what do you think of overthrowing the oceans, what do you think of jawline kisses and driving past graveyards ghost towns and where your grandparents used to live. there is so much left to see. you have so many lovers that you have yet to meet their skin. hold on a little longer, my darling, we can take our time. we could take all the time in the world. we could have had it. ..................Anonymous

A wonderland of life, on pastures so green. Relaxed and at peace, my mind feels so clean. Life out here, does not seem like a chore. There’s plenty of work, but more to explore. People are friendly, smiles we share. For mother earth, we all mutually care. Homemade apple pie, during my walks, I can smell. My joys and gratitude, to the birds I just yell. Oh, Country life, That I love and embrace. This is my home, this is my place. Nature is a unique blessing to us, everything created by God on this earth has some purpose and order in life.  The radiant rivers, the shining valleys, huge mountains, blue oceans, white sky, the sun, the rain, the moon and the list is non-ending.  All these things have some order and serve a purpose in life.
